Click on a key word at the right to display its definition. The small window at the bottom shows the parent category, the key word, and its definition. Returning to the other views will go to the last inspected key word.
The small window at the bottom shows the parent category, the key word, and its definition (if any). To find a key word quickly, type in the word and use the “Find/Find Next” button. The “Show Path” button will go to the found word's path.
Type in a few words that are in the definition or article, and Reverse Dictionary will find the key word. Use “or” to separate phrases. (Example - “upper arm or lower leg”). The list at the right shows the suggested key words.
Reverse Dictionary (‚åòD):
This displays the hierarchy expanding from top to bottom. Center an item with the scroll bars to expand that category. Double-click or choose “Expand” to show a definition. Use the arrow buttons to go up or deeper into the hierarchy.
Tree View (‚åòT):
This displays the hierarchy expanding from left to right. Double-click or choose “Expand” from the menu to expand that category or show that definition. Double-click on an expanded category or use “Collapse” from the menu to close up that category.
Graphic View (‚åòG):
This displays the hierarchy as an outline. Double-click on an item or choose “Expand” from the menu to expand that category or show that definition. Double-click on an expanded category or use “Collapse” from the menu to close up that category.
Outline View (‚åòO):
This area allows you to see much more of the definition than the small display on the main window. Click on the box at the bottom right of the window to shrink or grow the article display.
